Women’s Officer
Hi everyone! I’m Wenting, an international coursework student currently pursuing a Master of Management (Accounting). I’m running for Women’s Officer because I want to help create a more supportive, inclusive, and empowering environment for women in our graduate community.
I have always been passionate about women’s education and well-being. I once volunteered as a teaching assistant in rural areas in China, supporting young girls’ education and donating books to improve their learning opportunities. If elected, I will advocate for:
✔️ More career and leadership workshops to support women’s professional growth
✔️ Stronger mentorship programs and peer networks for guidance and support
✔️ Greater focus on campus safety, equal opportunities, and well-being
I’d love your support!
International Officer | Health & Welfare Officer | Education (Coursework) Officer:
Hi everyone! I’m Wenting, currently pursuing a Master of Management (Accounting). As an international coursework student, I know firsthand the struggles of adjusting to a new academic system, finding career opportunities, and managing day-to-day student life. That’s why I’m running for these roles—to help make student support more accessible, diverse, and practical.
As a Welfare Volunteer at Union Mart in 2024, I assisted students facing food insecurity and earned the Melbourne Plus People community engagement acknowledgment, reinforcing my commitment to student well-being.
If elected, I will focus on real, achievable improvements such as:
✔️Providing clearer information on visas, housing, and job opportunities through existing university channels
✔️Providing more diverse welfare resources and healthier, tastier Free Food options
✔️ Advocating for better communication between students and faculty on coursework expectations and assignment feedback
✔️ Supporting more peer networking and academic study groups to help students connect and succeed.
I’d love your support!
