My name is Rachel, and I am currently in my final year of the Doctor of Medicine program. I grew up in a small town in remote Queensland. After working as a Dietitian in Townsville, I went on to serve as an Aboriginal Mental Health Coach before relocating to Melbourne to pursue a career in Medicine.

The role of First Nations Officer is essential to ensuring that First Nations students receive better support across all aspects of their studies, while also ensuring their voices are heard and their experiences are acknowledged. I am committed to providing this support and would be honoured to take on the responsibility of advocating for meaningful change on behalf of my peers.
