About the program
Are you a MDHS graduate student looking for support and guidance as you navigate through your research journey? Look no further! Our Peer Program is designed to foster peer-to-peer learning, networking, and mentorship within the community of graduate researchers in the MDHS faculty.
Here’s how it works:
Mentors:
Are you nearing the end of your studies and feeling confident about what you’ve learned? Become a mentor! Share your wisdom and experience with fellow graduate students who are just starting out. Mentors will recieve a Melbourne Plus digital credential and a $100 grocery voucher after completing the program.
Mentees:
Are you in the early stages of your research degree and in need of guidance? Sign up to be a mentee! Connect with a mentor who can provide invaluable support and advice tailored to your needs.
The program runs for five months, from June to November, giving mentees ample time to benefit from the mentorship and guidance provided by their peers.
Join us and be part of a supportive community where everyone learns and grows together. Apply today to take advantage of this unique opportunity to connect with fellow graduate researchers and elevate your academic journey!
Time commitment
For those participating in the program, there will be a 15-hour minimum commitment over the course of the program. This includes monthly 1-hour catch ups with your mentee, contributing to the Teams site, an in-person induction in June, an in-person launch event in June, in-person workshops, and an in-person end of program celebration event in November.
Applications close May 23rd 11.59pm
