Make new LGBTQIA+ connections with friends who will be with you throughout your time at the University of Melbourne.
Queer Speed friending helps you find your chosen LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transsexual, Queer, Intersex, Asexual+) family.
GSA’s Queer Speed Friending is where you get to play connection-based games and get to know new queer friends in a fun way.
This means more fun, laughter and deeper conversations with your LGBTQIA+ peers.
Enjoy creating genuine connections with other LGBTQIA+ University of Melbourne grad students.
Whether you’re confidently social, or a bit shy and reserved, you’ll quickly warm up and make new queer friends.
And don’t fret, we provide ice-breaker questions on interesting topics which will make conversation a breeze. You’ll see how easy it is sharing stories, thoughts, ideas, and feelings as we play a variety of fun games in the Gryphon Gallery.
