Women’s Officer
My name is Anisha and I am a PhD student with the Collaborative Practice Centre and Department of Medical Education at the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences. I have been a strong advocate for women’s empowerment throughout my career, contributing actively to the Women’s Empowerment Network at my previous workplace with a focus on activities surrounding professional development and mental health e.g. resilience. Our team was awarded the Monash University Vice-Chancellor’s Commendation for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to recognize our effort in supporting women in the workplace. I have also published book chapters on mental health issues faced by women in academia. I intend to continue championing women-related causes and represent postgraduate women at the University of Melbourne, if elected through this platform.
 
Health & Welfare Officer
My name is Anisha and I am a PhD student with the Collaborative Practice Centre and Department of Medical Education at the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences. I have been a strong advocate for health & welfare causes throughout my student days and career. I am a pharmacist by background and I have worked in community, hospital and in academia. I have amassed a great deal of empathy from years of engaging and serving people of all ages and backgrounds to manage multiple chronic and acute conditions. I intend to continue utilizing my experience and knowledge to represent the postgraduate students of University of Melbourne fairly in health and welfare causes, if elected through this platform.
