Placement: Student perspectives, concerns and priorities for change

GSA’s Education (Coursework) Officer developed this report highlighting graduate students’ experiences of placements and recommendations for change. Challenges that students encounter on placement include a lack of preparation to undertake placement, demotivation to report negative experiences and threats to student wellbeing. This report adds to the findings of GSA’s 2021 ‘Safety on Placement report’.

GSA Assistive Technologies Library Accessibility Survey Report

Students and graduate researchers who rely on the use of assistive technologies such as screen readers or alternative input devices struggle to access library resources in an efficient and timely manner. This is largely due to the inaccessibility of websites and resources provided by publishers.
