As Environment & Sustainability Officer, I will lead impactful initiatives to make UniMelb a greener campus by:

1. Establishing a Sustainability Framework: Green Practices at UniMelb.

2. Digital Awareness & Engagement Platform: Developing an online platform where students are made aware about Green Practices.

3. Conducting real time carbon footprint audits through an app developed by associating with School of Environmental Sciences and Engineering

4. Encouraging Incentives for green footprints 👣 collected the app like free meal in a month or free meal throughout birthday week.

5. Advocating for discounted public transport passes for students.

6. Rental discounts on shared e-scooters.

7. Offering certification courses in ESG, carbon accounting, and climate finance.

8. Launching an alumni network for sustainability professionals, to find mentors.

9. Organizing pitching competitions focused on climate tech, sustainable design, and circular economy models.

10. Introducing a GSA Sustainability Fellowship, where students work on industry-relevant eco-projects for credit

11. Organizing an annual Sustainability Career Fair featuring companies in renewable energy, sustainable packaging, green finance and ESG consulting, Sustainable Agri & Food tech, etc.

12. Setting up a ‘UniMelb Free Store’ where students can swap books, clothes, and essentials.
