Hi, this is Om and I’m running for the position of Faculty Council for the Faculty of Business and Economics. As a student of the Master of Management (Finance) program, I am excited to represent the voices of my peers and contribute to the continued success of the Faculty of Business and Economics. My policy focuses on three core areas: student engagement, academic support, and career readiness.

1) Enhanced Academic Support : I will push for improvements in academic support services, such as expanded tutoring hours, Alumni mentorship programs, and increased accessibility to online resources. I believe this will help students across all programs achieve academic success and thrive in their studies.

2) Improving Industry Connections : One of my primary goals is to strengthen the faculty’s career services by advocating for more industry connections and networking events. I will work to increase collaboration between students and professionals, particularly in emerging industries, to provide practical experience and career opportunities that align with students’ ambitions.
