Graduate school should be a journey of growth and connection.

Therefore, I am nominating myself for the GSA Board to advocate for graduate students’ rights and foster an inclusive community. As a recent Master of Education graduate, I understand the challenges of postgraduate study and believe GSA should be a strong voice for all students.
Despite being newly appointed to the Faculty of Education (FoE) Council, I have worked to strengthen GSA’s connection with FoE, particularly around placement issues affecting education students. I actively engage with EdSAC, the Graduate Education Society, and serve as the LPDP Unimelb FoE student representative, ensuring student concerns are heard. These experiences equip me to advocate for FoE students and expand this support across faculties as a GSA Board member.

My priorities include:
✅ Academic & Professional Support – Expanding mentorship programs, workshops, and academic events like thesis writing retreats and networking sessions.
✅ Well-being & Inclusion – Strengthening support services and peer networks.
✅ Diversity & Representation – Advocating for international students and marginalised groups.
