Melbourne University Gastrointestinal Society (MUGIS)

The Melbourne University Gastrointestinal Society (MUGIS) is an independent not-for-profit organisation that aims to expose students from the University of Melbourne as well as young Australians to the gastrointestinal world. MUGIS aims to amalgamate all forms of discipline pertaining to the gastrointestinal field from surgery to internal medicine, dieticians, nutritionist, and researchers passionate about the enteric nervous system. Here at MUGIS, we endeavour to offer the best experience possible by imparting the knowledge of expertise to students and equipping them with a set of skills unique to the gastrointestinal discipline.
