This panel discussion on Career Growth, Leadership, and Diversity in Technology will be held for STEM graduate students. The session will include opening remarks, a panel Q&A on career development, diversity, leadership, and work–life balance, followed by an audience Q&A and a networking session with refreshments.

Rahima Khatun : Rahima is a multidisciplinary professional with over a decade of experience across inventory management, electrical engineering, project leadership, and stakeholder engagement, contributing to major Australian corporations and community development initiatives. With a background as an Electrical Test Engineer and Commercial Energy Analyst, she specialized in system design, data analysis, and innovative energy solutions. She holds a Master of Engineering Management from the University of Melbourne.

Bernadeth Lucanas: With over 20 years of experience across Asia, South Africa, and Australia, she has progressed from coding mainframe COBOL in the 1990s to shaping Cloud, Data, and AI strategies today. She has led initiatives in Data Warehousing, Big Data, and data governance, and now serves as Cloud Platform Architect at Macquarie Bank, focusing on cloud adoption, operational excellence, and enterprise Data & AI platforms.

Tooba Jalalidil is an AI and data science professional with experience across telecommunications, banking, retail, and education. She is the co-founder of Seekario.ai, an AI-powered platform that helps job seekers tailor resumes, prepare for interviews, and manage applications effectively.

Ting Dang: Dr Ting Dang is a Senior Lecturer in Digital Innovation at the University of Melbourne. Her research focuses on human-centred machine learning, speech and audio processing, and wearable sensing for health applications.
