Tickets are just $120 – that’s more than 50% off the full price of $243!
Food and drinks – GSA will provide light snacks, but lunch and a more substantial dinner stop on the way back is not included. You can bring your own snacks and water or you can also purchase from the store in Mount Buller.
Ski gear hire – Skis, boots, poles and helmet are to be hired through MUSKI for an additional $45 CASH before the trip, or you can bring your own equipment if you have them.
Waterproof clothing – Waterproof jackets and pants are strongly recommended – snow can soak through your clothes quickly, and staying dry helps you enjoy the day without getting too cold or uncomfortable.
What other clothing/footwear should I wear for the trip? Besides warm clothing, waterproof jackets, pants and thick socks are a must. Thermals are recommended if it is below 2 degrees. Goggles and waterproof gloves are not compulsory but are highly recommended for comfort and safety.
I don’t want to ski OR need the learn to ski lessons. Can I get a reduced-price ticket? Unfortunately no. We only have one ticket type to keep the cost down and don’t have separate pricing for people who don’t plan to ski or use beginner ski lessons. As the vast majority of the attendees are beginner skiers, we have packaged up a great experience with good value for grad students.
