GSA Family Fun Day is for postgrad students with children or young dependents to socialise and enjoy the day with fun activities!

GSA invites you to join your fellow graduate students and their families, for a ‘Family Fun Day’ on Sunday 21 September, from 11am to 2.30pm.

 

The event is an opportunity for postgraduate students with children/young dependants to socialise with fun, free kids activities on campus.

There will be fun entertainment, a photobooth, face painting, free food, and more!!

You are also welcome to bring your own picnic or snacks to enjoy on the lawn which will have picnic mats, tables and benches.

It’s a perfect day of fun and activities that’s aimed at kids around 3 -10 years old.

 

NOTE: As this is a GSA event with activities designed for children, every family group must have at least one currently enrolled UniMelb graduate student and at least one child. We can accommodate a maximum of two adults in each family group.

 

Please note: Food tickets will be available at the registration tent until sold out. There is a limit of 1 ticket for each person with an Eventbrite ticket. No tickets will be issued for infants. Activities are free for all to enjoy for the duration of the event.

 

Eventbrite Registrations will close 12pm Friday 19 September.

 

NOTE: This event is only available for postgraduate students of UniMelb WITH CHILDREN/YOUNG DEPENDANTS as the activities and entertainment on the day is catered for young children.

Enrolment will be checked on the day to confirm at least one person in each family group is a CURRENTLY ENROLLED GRADUATE STUDENT.

When you register on Eventbrite, please use your UniMelb student email. Orders made that do not include a UniMelb student email and ID will be cancelled.

Venue accessibility: accessible entry to the 188 Building is via the courtyards (back of building) and a lift is located next to reception on the ground floor (near the West courtyard entry). There is an all-gender accessible bathroom on Level 1, and a bathroom with kids nappy changing area between the GSA Family Rooms in the West Wing of the 1888 Building.
