As part of GSA's Dance Exploration series, we'll bring different styles of dance for our students to learn, every fortnight. Time to dance!
K-pop style dance is a hybrid genre primarily blending hip-hop and urban dance with elements of jazz, contemporary, and traditional Korean dance. It is characterized by high energy, precise and synchronized group formations, and “point dances” – catchy, repetitive movements that highlight key lyrics. The choreography is visually engaging, energetic, and often incorporates complex footwork, body control, and dynamic formations that change with the music.
Location: Dance Studio 304, Building 199 (Stop 1 Building)
The Dance Exploration series is all about celebrating different dance styles from around the world and helping you loosen up and release some stress. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced dancer, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
