As part of GSA's Dance Exploration series, we will bring various styles of dance to our students, every fortnight.
This event series is all about celebrating different dance styles from around the world and helping you loosen up and release some stress. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced dancer, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Mid-Semester – Hip Hop (26 September)
Week 11 – Jazz (11 October)
SWOT VAC – K-Pop (21 October)
*Registrations for classes open 2 weeks before each class. Limited places. Please only book if you can attend, so you give others the opportunity to attend.
About your dance instructor, Fiona (Fifi):
Fifi, also known as Fifi Di’Freak, is a Melbourne based creative performer within comedy, acting and dance. She has been involved in dance on and off for over 20 years with extensive training and performance outcomes including her Certificate 2 in Dance. She has trained in most commercial styles and continues to seek opportunities for involvement within the dance scene through ongoing training and workshops and opportunities. Some notable performances include her involvement in the closing ceremony of the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games, 2002 Rising Festivals performance of ‘Multitude’, and ‘Us and all of Them’ at Arts Centre Melbourne in 2023.
She also helps run an inclusive queer centric dance performance collective called ‘The Real Hot Bitches’ who have performed many notable events including with Melbourne Internatinal Film Festival, Acmi’s ‘Goddess Weekend’, and with the Melbourne International Comedy Festival just to name a few. Her passion lies in commercial and street styles where dance was born of celebrating music and identity.
