Make Your Mark – Mixed Media Sketching

Discover your unique artistic voice in our mark-making sketching workshop where you will immerse yourself in tactile self-expression, exploring texture and personal storytelling through lines, shapes, and colour. This is your opportunity to dive into the realm of personal visual expression, where your unique touch and style become known to you. You will learn drawing fundamentals like scale and composition to enhance your creative storytelling. and experiment with charcoal, pastels, and more!

Art Supplies included.

Duration: 120 mins

Knowledge level: Beginner-friendly

Each workshop includes:

– Research on recent developments on brain activity that relates to drawing

– New insights on the use of drawing techniques in the corporate world and in education

– Detailed advice on how to apply basic skills of art making to resolve problems

PLEASE NOTE: this event is only for postgraduate students of University of Melbourne. When you login to Eventbrite to register, please use your UoM student email. Orders made that do not include a UoM student email and ID will be cancelled.

Venue accessibility: accessible entry is via the courtyards of 1888 Building (back of building) and a lift is located next to reception on the ground floor (near the West courtyard entry). There is an all gender accessible bathroom on Level 1.
