Share Your Experience: Help GSA Support Graduate Researchers Facing Online and In-Person Harassment
Are you a graduate researcher who has experienced hate or harassment online on in-person due to your research or involvement in academia? GSA wants to understand what’s happening and how the university can better support students in your situation. For contributing, you can go into the draw to win a $100 grocery gift card.
GSA is publishing this survey to gain insight into the scope of hate/harassment graduate researchers experience due to their research and academic pursuits. Graduate researchers are encouraged to engage with media and the public, however for some this opens the door to backlash, hate, trolling, harassment, doxxing, etc. GSA will use the data from this survey to advocate to the university on the scope of the issue, as well as actions the university can take to protect graduate researchers while protecting academic freedom.
All responses to this survey will be anonymised and we will not publish your name or any personal details.
