Combined event by the Student Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal Association (SOMA) and Mechanical Engineering Research Student Association (MERSA) with two experts in orthopaedic surgery and mechanical engineering. Associate Professor Erich Rutz from the Department of Paediatric Surgery and Dr Tomislav Bacek from the Faculty of Engineering will present on human gait abnormality, gait research, and novel technological solutions available to patients suffering from gait abnormality, such as the use of robotic assistance. Q&A will follow, with the opportunity for networking afterwards.
