Flow with Water – Watercolour Painting
Watercolor paint is a common media, but it is also one of the most difficult because of its “unforgivable” nature. Participating in this session will equip you with the skills necessary to create a finished watercolour painting, including fundamental drawing, colour mixing, the construction of tonal washes, and a sparing use of watercolour. All experience levels welcome!
Duration: 120 mins
Knowledge required: Beginner-friendly
Each workshop includes:
– Research on recent developments on brain activity that relates to drawing
– New insights on the use of drawing techniques in the corporate world and in education
– Detailed advice on how to apply basic skills of art making to resolve problems
PLEASE NOTE: this is an event for University of Melbourne graduate students only. When you login to Eventbrite to register, please use your UoM student email. Orders made that do not include a UoM student email and ID will be cancelled.
Venue accessibility: accessible entry is via the courtyards of 1888 Building (back of building) and a lift is located next to reception on the ground floor (near the West courtyard entry). There is an all gender accessible bathroom on Level 1.
