Environment and Sustainability Officer

Sustainability is more than a responsibility – it’s a transformative opportunity to build a world where both people and the planet thrive. As an architect and former volunteer of the UNDP with a deep passion for sustainability, I see the University of Melbourne as the perfect stage for bold, impactful change. This is our chance to lead, to innovate, and to set the standard for climate action that extends far beyond campus.

If elected as your Environment & Sustainability Officer, I will make sustainability not just a goal, but a movement. My priorities will be:

  • Pushing for more green spaces, and innovative energy solutions that make sustainability a visible, everyday experience.
  • Creating hands-on initiatives like repair cafés, where ideas turn into impact.
  • Partnering with student groups, faculty, and organizations to ensure our university becomes a model for climate leadership and sustainable innovation.

This is about revolution. When creativity meets commitment, we can build a sustainable future that we don’t just dream about – we create.

Let’s not wait for the future. Let’s build it now. Join me in making sustainability the foundation of everything we do at the Unimelb.

Your support is the spark for the change we need.

International Officer

Leaving home to study in a new country is more than just a journey – it’s a leap of faith. It’s exciting, challenging, and life-changing. But no one should face it alone. As an international student myself, I understand the struggles, uncertainties, and the constant search for belonging.

If elected as your International Officer, I will transform these challenges into opportunities. My mission is clear:

  • A stronger, more connected community – I will foster a university culture where international students don’t just adapt, but thrive through powerful networking, mentorship, and cultural exchange initiatives.
  • Fair policies & better support – I will push for clearer academic guidance, stronger mental health resources, and better job opportunities, ensuring every student gets the support they deserve.
  • Action over words – No more feeling unheard or invisible. I will be a relentless advocate, ensuring international students have a real voice in university decisions.

It’s about action for making sure no student feels unheard, unseen, or unsupported. Together, let’s create a campus where diversity isn’t just celebrated but truly embraced.

Let’s build bridges, break barriers, and make this university a home for all.

Let’s make change happen. Together.

Education (Coursework) Officer:

Education should empower, challenge, and prepare us for the real world – not just push us through a system. But let’s be real: unclear feedback, overwhelming workloads, and limited career connections make that harder than it should be. Isn’t it? It’s time for a change.

If elected as your Education (Coursework) Officer, I will focus on creating a smarter, fairer, and future-ready learning experience at the University of Melbourne.

  • I will push for clear, constructive feedback, better study resources, and real transparency between students and faculty.
  • I will advocate for fairer assessments, workload balance, and mental health support to ensure success is attainable – not just expected.
  • I will drive more industry links, hands-on projects, and career-focused learning so your degree actually works for you.

This is more than just a nomination – it’s a call to action. Let’s break outdated systems, push boundaries, and create an education that truly works for us.

Vote for change. Vote for impact. Vote for a future-ready education.
