Celebrate LGBTQIA+ History Month with our Queer Officer at this movie night!
Join GSA’s Queer Officer to watch Moonlight , enjoy food together, and celebrate the LGBTQIA+ History Month 💜
LGBTQIA+ History Month is a time dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the rich and diverse history, struggles, and achievements of the LGBTQIA+ community. It serves as an opportunity to honor the pioneers who have fought for equality and visibility, educate others about LGBTQIA+ experiences, and promote inclusion and acceptance. Through events, storytelling, and reflection, the month encourages everyone to learn more about the contributions of LGBTQIA+ individuals to society and to continue advocating for justice and equal rights.
Organised by GSA’s Queer Officer, Shailee, the movie screening is followed by a dinner with your peer students.
This is a great opportunity to make new friends too! There are a limited number of seats available so please only book if you can attend. For more information please reach out to Shailee at queer@gsa.unimelb.edu.au
PLEASE NOTE: This is an event for Graduate students of University of Melbourne. LGBTQIA+ students will be prioritised for event registration. When you login to Eventbrite to register, please use your UoM student email. Orders made that do not include a UoM student email and ID will be cancelled.
