Animal Welfare Students Society of the UoM (AWSSUM) 
The purposes of AWSSUM are: (1) To enhance the academic and professional life of Animal Welfare graduate students at the University of Melbourne (UoM). (2) To promote interaction, welfare and cohesion between Animal Welfare graduate students. (3) To promote, organise, support and disseminate academic activities for Animal Welfare graduate students. (4) To maintain close relationships with other academic organisations focused on promoting students’ research and other academic activities in Australia.
