Make Your Art – Wearable Art

Design and paint your own wearable art in this fun and beginner-friendly painting workshop. Celebrate your uniqueness in our autumn workshop by exploring fabric and painting techniques to create your very own wearable art, including crafting your own t-shirts. Play with patterns, graphics, text, mood, and colours to create a style statement that’s authentically you. Wear your art, showcase your creativity, and get inspired!

Please bring a piece of clothing – hat, tshirt, dress etc to paint on for this class.

Duration: 120 mins

Knowledge level: Beginner-friendly

Each workshop includes:

– Research on recent developments on brain activity that relates to drawing

– New insights on the use of drawing techniques in the corporate world and in education

– Detailed advice on how to apply basic skills of art making to resolve problems

PLEASE NOTE: this event is only for postgraduate students of University of Melbourne. When you login to Eventbrite to register, please use your UoM student email. Orders made that do not include a UoM student email and ID will be cancelled.

Venue accessibility: accessible entry is via the courtyards of 1888 Building (back of building) and a lift is located next to reception on the ground floor (near the West courtyard entry). There is an all gender accessible bathroom on Level 1.
