Mind the Gap between study and work
Mind the Gap is a series of workshops designed to bridge the gap between study and work, preparing students for life after graduation.
Grounded in research around the greatest fears students have about finding employment and skills shortages, Mind the Gap sessions are presented by leading experts and tackle the dreaded ‘soft skills’ in engaging, informative ways.
Past Mind the Gap sessions have addressed questions such as:
- How do you best negotiate with different generations?
- How should you handle conflict at work?
- What is “managing up”, and how do you do it?
- What skills are needed to cope with life after study?
How can I get involved?
Mind the Gap will be back in 2018.
