GSA Achieve –
Transition to Work employment workshops
Calling all international students and mature aged students looking to improve your chances of employment!
GSA is committed to supporting these two important cohorts of graduate students and we understand that both groups face unique challenges when looking for work and moving though the job searching process.
We have listened to your concerns and have employed the assistance of an external career coaching and CV writing company to tailor two courses, one designed for international students and one designed for mature-aged students (students who have already had professional experience in the workplace).
As part of the Transition to Work program offered by GSA, we are running both International Student Workshops and Mature Aged Students Workshops during Semester 2.
This program is valued at $150 per person and is being offered to GSA members for FREE!
We also have 10 scholarships available to workshop attendees, worth $500 each. Awardees will receive:
- one 60-minute 1:1 interview coaching session with a professional interview trainer
- two 30-minute 1:1 reviews of your CV, LinkedIn and cover letters with a professional CV writer.
Scholarships will be awarded to participants who demonstrate GSA’s values (empowerment, accountability, collaboration, community and respect) throughout the Employment Workshop.
