GSA “Shut Up And Write” Facilitation Training.
Shut Up And Write (SUAW) is a world-wide movement, which uses the Pomodoro Technique and structured writing sessions to assist in progressing students with assignments and thesis writing.
As part of GSA’s on-going support to graduate students, GSA will be running facilitation training on how to run a Shut Up And Write session. Training will include:
- What is SUAW
- Pomodoro Technique
- How to run a session
- Facilitation skills
This training is targeted at Grad Groups who would like to run their own SUAW sessions; but is open to anyone or any groups that would like the opportunity.
Once the training has been completed, the participant will become a GSA Endorsed SUAW Facilitator.
It is recommended that this training be completed prior to setting up a SUAW session. This is both for facilitators who new to the process or a refresher for those who have already been running them.
Sessions are:
24/2 1-2pm
25/2 1-2pm
You need only attend one session.
