An update from the GSA President: September 18th, 2024
Dear Graduate Students,
I hope your semester or research is going well!
With spring on the horizon after the gusting winds and pounding hail, it’s a great time to step outside, enjoy the blooming plants, and refresh. You might even find some inspiration on how to tackle the Xolvit Challenge while taking a break in nature.
On another note, I’m excited to announce that GSA will be hosting our inaugural Future Careers Expo this October! We’re bringing together industry partners from a wide range of fields, with a focus on diversity and inclusion, as well as skills for the future. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to connect with future colleagues, ask questions, and explore the possibilities that await you beyond your academic studies.
In addition to the expo, there are even more ways for you to engage with GSA and make an impact. We’d love to have your participation in reviewing the Electoral Regulations and contributing to the development of the GSA 2030 Strategic Plan. Also, be sure to check out our newly revamped Policy & Advocacy webpage for even more opportunities to share your ideas and get involved.
