Parents on Campus Report 

GSA conducted research to understand challenges faced by graduate student parents at the University of Melbourne. The study highlighted issues such as lack of family-friendly support, inadequate policies, costly and inaccessible childcare, leading to a sense of invisibility and alienation among student parents. GSA’s provides recommendations, urging the University to align policies with student parent needs, enhance childcare accessibility, and create more family-friendly facilities and spaces.

GSA Assistive Technologies Library Accessibility Survey Report

Students and graduate researchers who rely on the use of assistive technologies such as screen readers or alternative input devices struggle to access library resources in an efficient and timely manner. This is largely due to the inaccessibility of websites and resources provided by publishers.
