Become part of Melbourne’s emerging knowledge economy! The MID Open Talent Pathways program invites research students at the Masters and PhD level to be a part of Melbourne’s start-up ecosystem, empowering you to develop and activate core entrepreneurial skills.

You will have the opportunity to receive entrepreneurship education and mentoring from industry and academic experts to activate your  entrepreneurial potential. With a particular focus on the HealthTech and SportsTech sectors, the program will see you

  • explore problem spaces
  • apply skills to develop and test start-up ideas
  • participate in collaborative projects and internships with other start-up teams
  • develop a validated concept, pitch and set of next steps via a final design sprint 

Co-developed by the MID partners; the University of Melbourne, RMIT and the City of Melbourne, the program runs from April to July 2020 and requires a time commitment of one to two days per week.
