I’d like to introduce you to the Chilean Research Group of The University of Melbourne (CREGA-Melbourne).
Yes, that is correct! This group was created and is composed of Chilean students at Melbourne Uni… as you may already have noticed, there are many of us ‘Spanish speakers’ walking around the halls of the Union House.
Okay, now you must be thinking… Chile, Latinos, Nachos… Hey!, I know someone from Mexico, I wonder if these guys know him?
Well…sorry, but probably nope.
We are from Chile, a beautiful long and narrow country in South America, with the Andes to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west, and we are indeed a bit far from Mexico.
Our group currently has 42 members, and we are looking for more! So, if you are Chilean and currently burning your eyes studying at Melbourne Uni, we encourage you to be part of our group. You won’t regret it J our meetings are heaps of fun!
They always include good food and drinks, you’ll meet other Chilean student, can get help with Uni work and it is also a good opportunity for networking.
We also organise a yearly conference with Chilean students from other Australian universities, which will be held in Sydney this year.
If you’re interested and want to find out more about our group and our activities, feel free to contact us by our email (firstname.lastname@example.org), Facebook (@CregaUoM) and visit our website http://cregamelbourne.wixsite.com or the conference website http://cgcaustralia.com/
