Meeting rooms

The 1888 Building has meeting rooms for small and large groups, including function space up to 100 people.

Room booking rates
  • Study-related bookings for current graduate students are free, and only based on availability.
  • Room bookings for University staff, clubs or associations are subject to a fee.
  • GSA-affiliated Grad Groups are able to book rooms for free for their AGM and committee meetings, but other events and activities will be charged at standard rate. Groups will then be reimbursed 50% from their GSA funding.

Accessibility notice for May–July

As part of the Student Precinct Project, significant works will be occurring in and around the 1888 Building from 15 May 2018. These works, which will improve building access and facilities for all graduate students, will unfortunately lead to some temporary accessibility issues.

The 1888 Building lift and ramps will be unavailable from 15 May until the beginning of semester 2, 2018. During this time, we will aim to make events and activities accessible by providing alternate spaces outside of our building where necessary.

Should you have any questions, or if you will need to alter a booking because of this, please contact
