GSA administers over 250 lockers for graduate students, located in the 1888 Building and the Frank Tate Learning Centre.
Lockers are accessible 7 days per week, and most of those in the 1888 Building can be accessed 24 hours per day with a valid student card.
Lockers are free of charge for graduate students, but are in high demand. They are allocated for six months by application only, and extensions are not available.
Please note that there is currently a waiting list for lockers. Most applicants are waiting between 2 and 3 months for their locker application to be approved.
Tenured Study Spaces (TSSs)
Tenured Study Spaces (TSSs) are private office-style rooms assigned to late-stage research students on a 6–12 month basis. Each space has a desk, computer (PC or Mac), phone, lockable cupboards and bookshelves.
TSSs are free for eligible graduate students, but are in high demand. Priority is given to students who are in the final stages of their course: within six months of completion for master’s or diploma students, or within twelve months of completion for PhD students.
Please note that there is currently an extensive waiting list for TSSs. Due to works on the New Student Precinct Project, we have fewer spaces currently available. As such, applications are unlikely to be reviewed until the second semester.
