For most of 2020, GSA will be in the Doug McDonell Building, just a short walk away from the 1888 Building.

This relocation is due to significant refurbishment of the 1888 Building over 8–12 months.

1888 Building lockers

GSA administers over 200 lockers for graduate students in the 1888 Building.

Lockers are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days per week with a valid student card.

Lockers are free of charge for graduate students, but are in high demand. They are allocated for six months by application only, and extensions only come by reapplying.

Please note: Locker applications are currently on hold due to building changes. More information will be available soon.

1888 Building Tenured Study Spaces (TSSs)

Tenured Study Spaces (TSSs) are private office-style rooms assigned to graduate students on a 6-month basis. Each space has a desk, computer (PC or Mac), phone, lockable cupboards and bookshelves.

TSSs are free for eligible graduate students. Priority is given to students who are in the final six months or other important stages of their course.

Students are welcome to apply for extensions of up to 6 months for PhD students, or 3 months for master’s students.

Please note: TSS applications are currently on hold due to building changes. More information will be available soon.
