Working in High Performance Teams
A workshop designed to help prepare graduate students for the challenges of entering the world of work.
Employers and recruiters rate teamwork as an important employability skill. Teamwork skills become more and more important in the transition from a student to a professional. This 3-hour workshop helps you develop and understand the teamwork environment and the understanding skills you need to make it work for you.
Presented by the Centre for Workplace Leadership in the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Melbourne, Working in High Performance Teams will support graduate students in developing effective skills in working with teams. No matter your background or experience level, you will practice and develop the skills you need.
Through a combination of facilitated class discussions and experiential exercises, participants will be introduced to the following:
- Inputs, processes, and outcomes associated with effective teamwork
- Evidence-based advice about leading and participating in team-based work
- Collaborating with others to work through and adapt to a changing environment

Afternoon tea and refreshments will be provided.
