Join us for a vibrant celebration of the South Asian New Year! Experience the best of Indian culture with artistic performances by graduate students representing both North and South India. Treat yourself to a tasty South Indian-themed lunch and indulge in activities such as henna art and tarot reading. It’s the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the festive spirit and enjoy a day filled with cultural delights.

Festivities are free for all to enjoy, however you will need to have a ticket for lunch. Places are limited, so only those who have registered on Eventbrite will be guaranteed a meal. However even with a ticket you must arrive by 12.45pm to ensure you get your meal!
Tickets will be released 48 hours before the event (12pm on 22 April), so be sure to set your alarm so you don’t miss out.
As this is sure to be a popular event and there are limited places, please remember to cancel your ticket if you cannot make it. Those who have tickets and do not turn up will be marked as a ‘no show’ and those who are a ‘no show’ multiple times will have their tickets cancelled for future events.
One ticket per person – multiple tickets in the same name will be cancelled.
All students will be asked to show proof of graduate student status when they arrive on the day.
There will be an option for Vegan/Vegetarian/Halal/Gluten Free dietary requirements.
