Come and celebrate Intersex Solidarity with GSA's Queer Officer by watching a docu with some popcorn & drinks!

Join GSA’s Queer Officer in celebrating the Intersex Day of Solidarity. We invite you to a special screening of the documentary “Intersexion”, a powerful film that explores the lives and stories of intersex individuals. According to experts, between 0.05% and 1.7% of the population is born with intersex traits – the upper estimate is similar to the number of red-haired people (United Nations: Free & Equal, n.d.). You will walk away from the screening with new knowledge, understanding, and possibly some new connections.

This event is open to all UniMelb postgraduate students who are interested in learning more about intersex experiences and fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

Date: 8th November 7-9:30 pm
Venue: Latham Theatre, Redmond Barry Building

There will be some popcorn, candy, and drinks for you while you enjoy the film.
