Celebrate IDAHOBIT with some pom-pom crafting & afternoon tea

GSA is hosting a pom-pom crafting session on IDAHOBIT (International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexism and Transphobia) Day. 🏳️‍🌈

🌈 Some background about this date: May 17 marks the date in 1990 that homosexuality was removed from the WHO Classification of Diseases. Over three decades later, LGBTQIA+ communities still face discrimination – but every one of us can make a difference. Will you stand against discrimination?

Come along and make some rainbow pom-poms, have some afternoon tea, and make some friends!

Priority will be given to queer-identifying registrants. However, everyone is welcome to register.

There are a limited number of seats available so please only book if you can attend.

PLEASE NOTE: this is an event for Graduate students of University of Melbourne. When you login to Eventbrite to register, please use your UoM student email. Orders made that do not include a UoM student email and ID will be cancelled.

If you would like a map or further information, please email events@gsa.unimelb.edu.au
