FreeGSA is providing postgraduate students of UoM with FREE online yoga classes every Monday - start your week on a positive note!
Need a little motivation to start your week off right? We have you covered.
GSA is providing University of Melbourne graduate students with free yoga classes all semester! There is no limit to how many classes you can attend, and all classes will be suitable for both beginners, and those with a little more experience.
Classes will be delivered online, so you can join from the comfort of your own space. The class Zoom link will be provided in your confirmation email, and the event reminder email from Eventbrite prior to the start of your selected session. Please make sure you check your junk inbox!
All you need is a space to stretch out, a yoga mat and water bottle. Although hosted in Zoom, there is no pressure to have your camera on.
About your Yoga teachers
Matilda
Matilda is a Melbourne-based yoga teacher and lifelong student, passionate about movement as a gateway to physical and mental well-being. With extensive training in vinyasa and a focus on mindful sequencing and injury prevention, her classes are accessible, purposeful, and grounding. Alongside teaching in studios and corporate settings, Matilda offers online classes through her platform, HABITUAL, promoting mindfulness and balance in daily life.
Sindu
Sindu comes from the land of Yoga and Ayurveda. She carries a legacy of innate love for the tools of Breath, Movement, and meditation. With over 15 years of teaching experience, The most exciting aspect of her teaching is redefining yoga into a simple, accessible practice that is suitable for everyone. Sindu is grateful to all her Teachers, Students and experiences that have inspired her throughout this journey.
