Find Your Centre – Expressionism Painting

Welcome to the art of expressionism. In this class you will have an opportunity to explore the depths of your emotions and transform your abstract ideas into powerful, dynamic artworks. You’ll be guided through painting techniques and ideas that define the Abstract Expressionist movement, from gestural brushstrokes to spontaneous creation. You’ll be guided through the drawing process, colour blending combining mediums to achieve texture and more!

Art supplies provided.

Duration: 120 mins

Knowledge level: Beginner-friendly

Each workshop includes:

– Research on recent developments on brain activity that relates to drawing

– New insights on the use of drawing techniques in the corporate world and in education

– Detailed advice on how to apply basic skills of art making to resolve problems

Venue accessibility: accessible entry is via the courtyards of 1888 Building (back of building) and a lift is located next to reception on the ground floor (near the West courtyard entry). There is an all gender accessible bathroom on Level 1.
