Autobiographical Art : Introspective Approach

This workshop harnesses the raw language of form, texture, and personal narrative to mirror your inner world. Through a structured methodology such as with scale, composition, mark making, storytelling, colour, texture, and personal art practice you will gain an insight to visually portray yourself using emotions.

Duration: 120 mins

Knowledge required: Beginner-friendly

Each workshop includes:

– Research on recent developments on brain activity that relates to drawing

– New insights on the use of drawing techniques in the corporate world and in education

– Detailed advice on how to apply basic skills of art making to resolve problems

PLEASE NOTE: this is an event for University of Melbourne graduate students only. When you login to Eventbrite to register, please use your UoM student email. Orders made that do not include a UoM student email and ID will be cancelled.

Venue accessibility: accessible entry is via the courtyards of 1888 Building (back of building) and a lift is located next to reception on the ground floor (near the West courtyard entry). There is an all gender accessible bathroom on Level 1.
