Sewing Your Way Through It - Fun with Fabrics

Unleash your creativity and learn the basics of sewing in a fun and comfortable environment! Our beginner-friendly sewing class is the best approach to launch your passion for textile art, fashion, or home décor projects. Led by an experienced instructor, you’ll learn the essentials of sewing, including threading a needle, basic stitches, and pattern reading.

Duration: 120 mins

Knowledge required: Beginner-friendly

Each workshop includes:

– Research on recent developments on brain activity that relates to drawing

– New insights on the use of drawing techniques in the corporate world and in education

– Detailed advice on how to apply basic skills of art making to resolve problems

PLEASE NOTE: this is an event for University of Melbourne graduate students only. When you login to Eventbrite to register, please use your UoM student email. Orders made that do not include a UoM student email and ID will be cancelled.

Venue accessibility: accessible entry is via the courtyards of 1888 Building (back of building) and a lift is located next to reception on the ground floor (near the West courtyard entry). There is an all gender accessible bathroom on Level 1.
