Creative Flow: Painting Workshop
Watercolour is a popular yet notoriously “unforgiving” medium—but that’s what makes it so rewarding. In this workshop, you’ll learn basic drawing, colour mixing, tonal washes, and how to work lightly to create stunning images. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to advance, let your intuition guide you as you embrace the vibrant, flowing pigments.
*STRICT NO-SHOW POLICY*
Due to the popularity of the art classes and the small number of seats available in each class, we have a two-strike policy in place for no-shows. Students who book but do not show up to 2 classes will not be able to book again for the rest of the semester. This ensures that as many students as possible can access these classes. As such, please only book if you can attend and if you cannot make it anymore, cancel your booking at least 48 hours before the art class.
All art materials provided.
Duration: 120 mins
Knowledge required: Beginner-friendly
Each workshop includes:
– Research on recent developments on brain activity that relates to drawing
– New insights on the use of drawing techniques in the corporate world and in education
– Detailed advice on how to apply basic skills of art making to resolve problems
PLEASE NOTE: this is an event for University of Melbourne graduate students only. When you login to Eventbrite to register, please use your UoM student email. Orders made that do not include a UoM student email and ID will be cancelled.
