Hi, I’m Deli Zhou, currently studying a master’s degree in media and communication, while also serving as a Board Member of the GSA. I’m part of the International Graduate Student Working Group, which supports and advises on strategic program delivery tailored to the needs of International Graduate Students. I’m also involved in the Visa 485 Change Working Group, engaging with students who are facing related challenges. Utilising more than 5 years of university experience in volunteering, student leadership, and representation has been a valuable opportunity, and I will continue to advocate for graduate students, especially those engaged in off-campus internships and placements. I use my background in commerce, and media & communication to enhance governance and ensure compliance within GSA, focusing particularly on the rights, wellbeing, and experiences of graduate students. In short, I’m here to support graduate students by continually advocating for accessible learning as part of an ever-improving GSA and its student community.
