Get ready to groove and have a blast at our Swing Dancing Class with MedMoves! Join us on Tue Oct 10, 2023 at 2:30pm for an unforgettable dance experience.

Hosted in the Gryphon Gallery, at the 1888 Building, this in-person event promises to be a swinging good time. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced dancer, our friendly instructor, Anita Milkovic will guide you through the steps and help you master the art of swing dancing.

Swing dancing is a lively and energetic dance style that originated in the 1920s. It’s all about rhythm, connection, and having fun on the dance floor. So, put on your dancing shoes, comfortable clothing, and get ready to learn some cool moves!

Don’t worry if you don’t have a partner – everyone is welcome, and we’ll make sure everyone gets a chance to dance with different partners throughout the class. It’s a great way to meet new people and learn a new dance style.

PLEASE NOTE: this is an event for Graduate students of University of Melbourne only. When you login to Eventbrite to register, please use your UoM student email. Orders made that do not include a UoM student email and ID will be cancelled.

Venue accessibility: accessible entry is via the courtyards of 1888 Building (back of building) and a lift is located next to reception on the ground floor (near the West courtyard entry). There is an all-gender accessible bathroom on Level 1.
