Taking a step from student to full-time career professional is not always an easy path. This workshop is designed to help prepare graduate students for the challenges of entering the world of work.  

This 3.5 hour workshop will help you identify and develop your personal strengths. You will participate in exercises that will explore and develop strategies to harness your positive self.  

Limited to 20 places. Only $25 for graduate students. 

Afternoon tea and refreshments will be provided.

Key content and exercises will include:

  • Analysis of use of strengths

  •  Identification of strategies to increase the use of strengths professionally and personally

  •  Reflection and narrative 

  • Positive practices such as gratitude and mindfulness

Pre-workshop requirement

It is recommended that  participants complete their individual VIA Me! (strengths) survey as pre-work, 3 weeks prior to participating.  This is easily administered online and will be sent to selected attendees.
